The EBITDA rose from 2.7 million euros (in H1/02) to 3.6 million euros (H1/03). Drillisch AG could increase the EBITDA by 31 percent in the half-year on half-year comparison. Group sales went down as a result of declining low-margin wholesale figures for mobile handsets to slightly under 56 million euros. The average revenue per user (ARPU) increased from January to June 2003 by just under 6 percent. The number of mobile customers remained constant at 570,000 compared with the first quarter 2003. The other operating figures also show a consistently high dynamism in earnings. The EBIT increased from 851 thousand euros (H1/02) by 97 percent to just under 1.7 million euros in the first six months 2003.
