The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Drillisch AG: EBITDA Up 173.3 Percent to 16.4 Million Euros as Sales Increase 211.4 Percent to 261.6 Million Euros EBIT improves by 237.5 percent to 10.8 million euros; Group net earnings rise by 256.3 percent to 5.7 million euros. Drillisch AG’s 9-Month Report 2004 shows another round of very favorable earnings performance. In these first nine months of 2004 the EBITDA increased 173.3 percent to 16.4 million euros from 6.0 million euros (9-Month Report 2003). Group revenues improved during the reporting period to 261.3 million euros from 84.0 million euros (9-Month Report 2003) for an increase of 211.4 percent. As at 30 September 2004 the EBIT had risen by 237.5 percent to 10.8 million euros from 3.2 million euros (9-Month Report 2003). At 1.606 million, the number of mobile-communications subscribers showed a big increase in the first nine months of 2004 compared to the same period last year (approximately 570,000 as at 30 September 2003). Subscriber growth was about 181.7 percent. These outstanding business achievements compared to the year-earlier period are attributable primarily to the significant increase in the size of the corporate group following the takeover of VICTORVOX AG in November 2003. Its current business performance has allowed Drillisch AG to reconfirm its EBITDA guidance of some 22 million euros for fiscal year 2004 and its revenue projection of about 355 million euros for the full 2004 year. As at 30 September 2004 the Drillisch Group had increased its cash and cash equivalents to 12.1 million euros compared to 8.4 million euros during last year’s first nine months (+44 percent).
