The Drillisch Group’s aggregate operating performance increased 124 percent to 355.8 million euros. The group EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) almost doubled to 16.1 million euros (2003: 8.4 million euros). At 19.7 million euros, its level of cash also improved almost twofold (2003: 9.9 million euros). The Drillisch Group had taken out no bank loans as at the 31 December 2004 cutoff date. The Executive Board is confident that the company will be able to post good earnings in the course of fiscal year 2005. As things look today, distribution of an appropriate dividend is planned for the 2005 fiscal year. The Drillisch AG Executive Board finalized the following business figures on 21 February 2005 at 11:05 AM, which have not yet been audited. The final annual financial statements, once approved by the Supervisory Board, will be discussed during a press and analyst conference to be held on 23 March 2005.
