Varia US Properties AG Announces Partial Refinancing of CHF 50 million Bond
Varia US Properties AG has announced today’s full repayment of its CHF 50 million bond (VAR21), as part of its strategic initiative to reduce leverage and strengthen its financial position.
To maintain flexibility in the current market environment, the Company has employed a blended repayment approach, utilizing available cash reserves alongside a CHF 25 million private loan.
The new loan features a variable interest rate of 2.0% and significantly more flexible repayment terms compared to the bond. This structure supports Varia US’s broader objective of continued deleveraging and enhanced financial performance over the coming quarters.
The VAR21 bond, originally issued on 7 October 2021 with a 2.875% coupon and a four-year tenor, will be fully repaid on its maturity date, today 7 October 2025.
