Von Roll Holding AG: Focussing on centers of excellence and concentration of production areas Au / Wädenswil, September 22, 2015 – Von Roll Holding AG is currently planning the next important steps of its “Delta Integrale” strategy and the establishment of centers of excellence that this involves. Breitenbach-based Von Roll Schweiz AG currently employs some 360 staff. With this restructuring, the Von Roll Schweiz AG site in Breitenbach will be expanded into a new center of excellence for the areas of impregnation and lamination. Subject to the statutory co-determination rights of employee representatives, wire production is to be discontinued at the Von Roll Schweiz AG site in Breitenbach, Switzerland, and concentrated at Von Roll France SA in the French town of Delle. Von Roll France SA, which has been manufacturing wire since 1927, will thus be expanded into a center of excellence for wire production. Up to 55 Von Roll Schweiz AG positions based at the Breitenbach site will be affected by the planned downsizing of the workforce. A socially acceptable solution is being sought for them. Consolidating the plants is intended to adjust the necessary capacity in line with demand, with the aim of increasing production efficiency at our plants and improving competitiveness.
