At its meeting on 8 December 2008 the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse
AG has elected Dr Manfred Gentz Chairman of the Supervisory Board of
Deutsche Börse AG. Dr Manfred Gentz assumes the office with effect as of 9
December 2008 as the successor of the Chairman Kurt F. Viermetz, who is
resigning from his office. He will hold the office until the end of the
Annual General Meeting 2009, in which the regular election of all
representatives of the shareholders will take place. Such Annual General
Meeting is scheduled on 20 May 2009.
At the same meeting Mr Gerhard Roggemann has been elected Deputy Chairman.
