Exercise of Warrants

Reference is made to the announcement made by Golar LNG Energy Limited ("Golar
Energy" or "the Company") on December 7, 2010 in respect of the exercise of
warrants granted at the time of the Company's private placement in August 2009.

As at the end of December 15, 2010, the deadline for the exercise of warrants, a
total of 9,411,440 warrants had been exercised by warrant holders. The Company
will receive USD 18,822,880 in consideration for the issue of new shares, which
will be issued on or about December 21, 2010. After these new shares are issued
the total number of shares outstanding will be 237,754,540.
