[1] Opening adjustment to the December 31, 2021 equity relates to the adoption of ASU 2020-06 Debt – Debt with Conversion and Other Options (Topic 470) and Derivatives and Hedging - Contracts in Entity’s Own Equity (Topic 815), relating to amendment to simplify an issuer’s accounting for convertible instruments.
[2] As at June 30, 2023 and 2022, our other comprehensive income consisted of a gain of $1.5 million and $0.1 million of pension and post-retirement benefit plan adjustments and $0.2 million and $nil income for our share of equity method investment’s comprehensive income, respectively.
