Charges of $6.1 million and $17.0 million were included in the cost of revenues in the Company’s condensed consolidated statements of operations for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021, respectively, to adjust the Company’s inventory and related firm purchase commitments to their net realizable value. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020, charges of $2.5 million and $12.7 million were included in the cost of revenues, respectively, to adjust the Company’s inventory and related firm purchase commitments to their net realizable value.

Losses on firm purchase commitments related to raw materials on order were $3.5 million and $4.2 million as of September 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively.
