On October 14, 2020 ČEZ, a. s. received CZK 1,463 mil of interest on taxauthority misconduct connected to an administrative actions filedagainst decisions of the Appellate Financial Directorate in relation toincorrect assessment of the period relevant for granting interest, whichwas connected to refunded overpayment of gift tax on emission allowancesfor 2011 and 2012.
