The noncurrent liabilities associated with our pension and other postretirement benefit plans are classified as postretirement benefits and other long-term liabilities on our Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheets. As of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, we have a noncurrent pension liability of $144.2 million and $113.5 million, respectively. As of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, we have a noncurrent other postretirement benefits liability of $541.6 million and $542.6 million, respectively.

Due to the availability of our pre-funded pension balances (previous contributions in excess of prior required pension contributions) related to our U.S. pension plans, as well as contributions we made in 2015 for one of our U.K. pension plans, the cash payments to our pension trusts will be insignificant in 2017. We expect our cash payments for other postretirement benefit obligations in 2017, net of GM cost sharing, to be approximately $16 million.
