Komerční banka signs referral agreement with Hello bank! on re-contracting of Czech retail deposit costumers

Prague, 28 April 2023 - Komerční banka, a.s., with its registered office at Na Příkopě 33/969, 114 07 Prague 1, registration No. 45317054, entered in the register of companies maintained with the Metropolitan Court of Prague, section B, file No.1360 (hereinafter also Komerční banka or the Bank), announces that

Komerční banka has signed a referral agreement with BNP Paribas Personal Finance SA (BNPP PF), on re-contracting of selected deposit customers of the Czech franchise of BNPP PF, operating under Hello bank! brand. The referral agreement does not concern credit products offered by Hello bank!

As of 26 April 2023, Hello bank! registered some 39,000 customers in the Czech Republic, with 13,000 current accounts and 35,000 saving accounts. The total volume of client deposits at Hello bank! amounted to CZK 1.7 billion.

As of 31 December 2022, Komerční banka Group was serving 2,240,000 customers. Total assets stood at CZK 1,304.1 billion and total client deposits reached CZK 916.8 billion.

The referral agreement with BNPP PF is in accordance with Komerční banka's growth and transformation strategy KB2025, announced in November 2020.
