Net cash paid for income taxes was $48 million and $11 million for the six months ended April 30, 2019 and 2018, respectively. There were higher tax payments in the first half of fiscal 2019 primarily due to increased tax liability resulting from U.S. tax legislation enacted in the first quarter of fiscal 2018. Cash paid for interest was $38 million and $41 million for the six months ended April 30, 2019 and 2018, respectively.
