STOCKHOLDERS’ EQUITY STOCKHOLDERS’ EQUITY.Accounts payable and accrued expenses includes liabilities of $36.0 million at September 30, 2021, and $2.5 million at December 31, 2020 for common stock repurchases that settled during the first week of October 2021 and January 2021, respectively. On June 14, 2021, the Board of Directors declared a special cash dividend of $3.00 per common share, or $699.8 million, that was paid on July 7, 2021 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 25, 2021.
