Zumwinkel to stay as CEO four more years – John Mullen new member of the board
The supervisory board of Deutsche Post AG in a meeting on November 6th 2004 has
prolonged the appointment of Klaus Zumwinkel as Chief Executive Officer until
November 2008. Also the appointment of Hans-Dieter Petram as board member
responsible for the corporate division MAIL was prolonged until November 2007.
Uwe Dörken has abandoned his mandate as member of the board. He will still be
affiliated with the group as special representative for the CEO.
John Mullen (49) was appointed as new member of the board until November 2008.
He will be responsible for the division DHL Express America, Asia Pacific and
Emerging Markets. John Mullen is currently successful Chief Operating Officer of
DHL Express Asia Pacific. He is Australian and has worked for two decades as an
executive in the global express industry.
