Deutsche Post DHL: Roger Crook follows Hermann Ude as Board Member for DHL
Global Forwarding, Freight
Express-CEO Ken Allen appointed to Board for further five-year term

Bonn, March 9 2011: The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG today
appointed Roger Crook to the Board of Management responsible for DHL Global
Forwarding, Freight. Crook, 54, previously was in charge of the business
unit DHL Express Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Crook replaces Hermann Ude.

The company and Ude, 49, have agreed on an early termination of his board
membership by mutual consent and on the best of terms amid diverging views
on the future strategic focus of the company. Ude stepped down from his
mandate as of end of business yesterday and will leave the company as of
March 31st, 2011.

The company and Ude have reached a termination agreement which lies within
the framework of the German Corporate Governance Codex.

The Supervisory Board expressed its gratitude to Hermann Ude for his
successful work in effectively leading and further developing the Global
Forwarding, Freight Business Unit.

'Roger Crook has more than two decades of experience in the logistics
industry. He has been active on three continents and intimately understands
the needs of global customers,' said Wulf von Schimmelmann, Chairman of the
Supervisory Board. 'With this decision, we are confident to be well
prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the DHL
Global Forwarding, Freight business unit.'

Native to the U.K., Crook has run the Group's Express business in Asia
since the end of 2010. He is a member of the global Board of Management for
Express and in addition oversees all global sales activities of the
business unit. Previously, Crook held the position of CEO DHL Express
Americas. He has also held other responsibilities in the U.S. as well as
Europe. Crook also played a material part in the creation of Global
Customer Solutions, the global unit he co-founded in 2002 to look after the
Group's top 100 customers. Crook will be based in Bonn and Singapore.

In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board also extended the board member
mandate of Ken Allen, CEO of DHL Express, by another five years starting
March 1, 2012.
