On 3 December 2014, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, NY,
U.S.A., informed us pursuant to Sec. 21, para. 1 WpHG that its share in the
voting rights of Deutsche Telekom AG, Bonn, Germany, on 1 December 2014 has
fallen below the 5% threshold of voting rights and on that day amounted to
4.97% (this corresponds to 225,568,860 out of a total of 4,535,571,247
voting rights (the 'Total Voting Rights')).
2.14% of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 96,842,021 voting
rights) are to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc.
pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.
0.01% of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 258,503 voting
rights) are to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc.
pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG.
3.14% of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 142,544,453 voting
rights) are to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc.
pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with sentence 2
WpHG.
Please note that the total amount stated above (225,568,860 voting rights)
does not equal the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This according
to BlackRock results from voting rights having multiple attributions within
the BlackRock group structure.
Section 25
On 3 December 2014, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. further informed
us pursuant to Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG that its share in the Total Voting
Rights of Deutsche Telekom AG, Bonn, Germany, on 1 December 2014 has fallen
below the 5% threshold of voting rights and on that day amounted to 4.98%
of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 225,845,046 voting rights).
0.01% of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 276,186 voting
rights) are financial or other instruments pursuant to Sec. 25 WpHG. All of
these financial or other instruments are held indirectly (this corresponds
to 276,186 voting rights).
4.97% of the Total Voting Rights (this corresponds to 225,568,860 voting
rights) are held or attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc.
pursuant to section 21, 22 WpHG.
