On August 6, 2015, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, DE, U.S.A. has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act) that via shares its voting rights on Deutsche
Telekom AG, Bonn, Germany, have exceeded the 5% threshold of the voting
rights on August 4, 2015 and on that day amounted to 5.01% (this
corresponds to 230629340 voting rights out of a total of 4606651870 voting
rights (the 'Total Voting Rights')).
1.98% of voting rights (this corresponds to 91035110 voting rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act).
0.00001% of voting rights (this corresponds to 257 voting rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 2 in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act).
3.33% of voting rights (this corresponds to 153602262 voting rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act).
Please note that the total amount stated above (230629340 voting rights)
does not equal the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This according
to BlackRock results from voting rights having multiple attributions within
the BlackRock group structure.
