Release of an Ad hoc announcement according to § 15 WpHG, transmitted by

Michael Neubürger resigned his position as member of the Management Board,
this with immediate effect. The labour contract was anuled by mutual
agreement. Since 2001 Michael Neubürger was responsible for the finance and
the residential privatizazion of Deutsche Wohnen AG. The Supervisory Board
thanks Michael Neubürger for his longtime activities for Deutsche Wohnen
AG.
Today the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Wohnen AG appointed Dr. Michael
Gellen to a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Wohnen AG, this with
immediate effect and for a transition time. From January 2002 up to August
2006 Dr. Michael Gellen was already member of the Supervisory Board of
Deutsche Wohnen AG.
