On 31 March 2014, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has informed
us according to sec. 21, para. 1 WpHG that its voting rights in Deutsche
Wohnen AG, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, have fallen below the threshold of 3%
on 26 March 2014 and as of such date amount to 2.92% (this corresponds to
8,362,856 voting rights).

Voting rights of 1.06% (this corresponds to 3,025,826 voting rights) are to
be attributed to the company according to sec. 22, para. 1, sent. 1, no. 1
WpHG.

Voting rights of 1.86% (this corresponds to 5,337,030 voting rights) are to
be attributed to the company according to sec. 22, para. 1, sent. 1, no. 6
WpHG in connection with sec. 22, para 1, sent. 2 WpHG.
