---------------------------------------------------------------------------

According to preliminary figures, sales generated by the Hönle Group in the
first six months of the current financial year climbed 5.7 % to TEUR
36,133, in comparison with the previous year. This increase was caused by
the consolidation of new Group companies, among other things. After
reaching TEUR 3,099 in the previous year's period, the operating result
(EBIT) stood at TEUR 3,128 in the current financial year. Pre-tax profit
declined from TEUR 2,981 to TEUR 2,765 and the consolidated result amounted
to TEUR 2,051 (PY: TEUR 2,013) which translates into earnings per share of
EUR 0.35 (PY: EUR 0.35).
Consequently, the EBIT margin is 8.4 % in the current financial year after
being 9.1 % in the previous year. Net profit on sales saw a slight drop of
5.9 % to 5.7 % in the same period. Hönle Group's equity ratio stood at 58.2
%.

Outlook:
The Hönle Group recorded restrained demand for capital and consumer goods
with respect to both the 'equipment and systems' and the 'glass and lamps'
segments in the first six months of the 2012/2013 financial year; this
contributed significantly to the sales and earnings level lagging behind
expectations. However, Hönle assumes that sales will pick up in the
third and fourth quarter.

Management is aiming at achieving sales revenues of between EUR 75 to 80
million for the Hönle Group in financial year 2012/2013 (previously EUR 80
to 85 million) and an operating result of EUR 8 to 9 million (previously
EUR 10 to 12 million).

Hönle Group's three business fields, 'equipment and systems', 'glass and
lamps' and 'adhesives' provide both risk diversification and sufficient
growth potential for the future. Management is therefore continuing to
pursue its target of achieving the sales threshold of EUR 100 million
within the next two years.

Grafix GmbH already contributed positively to Hönle Group earnings in the
first quarter of consolidation. Favourable business development is also
planned for the third and fourth quarter.

Hönle will publish the 6-month report for 2012/2013 as planned on 24 May,
2013.
