BOV takes over Jardix AG, a development company
Focused expansion of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) business unit
Accelerated development of BOV’s Spheon technology
BOV AG, a joint stock corporation which provides e-business services, is taking
over Jardix AG, based in Halle, active hitherto as a thoroughbred development
company in the EAI growth segment. Jardix contributes a highly-qualified 15-
member development team with several years’ experience in aspects of EAI to the
BOV Group. Furthermore, the company already has two software products ready for
the market, namely ePlug and Procix.
Alongside the sales revenue which BOV already expects to book in the current
business year from marketing the software licenses, the acquisition enables BOV
to expand its project capacities in its newly-founded EAI business unit more
swiftly than originally planned. As on integral core component, Procix will
accelerate development of BOV’s Spheon technology, which will first go on
public demonstration at the CEBIT.
Both parties agreed to maintain confidentiality on the purchase price, which is
primarily being paid in the form of a contribution in kind consisting of new
shares. The partners are subject to a staggered lock-up period of between 12
and 36 months.
