adesso continues expansions in Austria by acquiring the IT consulting
company CFC Informationssysteme
By acquiring CFC Informationssysteme adesso targeted complements its
existing portfolio in Austria by the service of IT consulting. In only one
year since market entry, the adesso subsidiary adesso Austria is now able
to offer large parts of the adesso portfolio. With total sales figures of
more than 6 million EUR in Austria, adesso Austria ranks among the major
independent IT services providers in its country. CFC Informationssysteme
achieves a pre-tax return of more than 25 percent at total sales figures of
2 million EUR in 2009.
CFC's business is to consult on the interfaces between business logics and
processes as well as on the transfer of these logics and processes to IT
systems. adesso Austria and CFC have worked together in projects before.
The supplementary competencies of both companies will henceforth be
consolidated and the companies will operate under the name of adesso
Austria. The founder and seller of CFC, the graduate engineer Thomas
Zellinger, completes the management team of adesso Austria in Vienna.
Zellinger has valuable network and business contacts in Austrian economy.
The purchase price amounts to 2.25 million EUR plus results-based
properties which are dependent on the development of the upcoming business
year. adesso Austria is the purchaser and finances the acquisition with a
credit, making use of the currently favorable credit conditions. The main
tasks in Austria now consist of integrating the two companies and pursuing
the strategy of organic growth.
