Die Eckert & Ziegler AG, ein Spezialist für schwach radioaktive Krebs- und Herzheilmittel, hat im dritten Quartal ihren Expansionskurs fortgesetzt. Gegenüber dem Vorjahr stieg der Umsatz um 480% auf 7,0 Mio EUR (1,2 Mio EUR). Der Cash Flow erhöhte sich von 0,3 Mio EUR auf 2,5 Mio EUR. Das Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit betrug im Berichtszeitraum 0,7 Mio EUR. Besonders erfreulich entwickelten sich im dritten Quartal die Umsätze bei radioaktiven Komponenten für wissenschaftliche und technische Anwendungen. Sie konnten im Vergleich zu den onkologischen und kardiologischen Produkten überproportional zulegen, obwohl auch dort hohe Auftragsbestände vorlagen. Planmäßig erhöhte sich im Bereichtszeitraum die Zahl der Mitarbeiter der Gruppe auf 129. Einen weiteren Wachstumsschub erwartet der Vorstand, sobald am Standort Berlin-Buch im Frühjahr 2000 ein neues Produktions- und Bürogebäude mit 2.100 qm zusätzlicher Fläche bezogen werden kann. In ihm sollen verschiedene Fertigungslinien für medizinische Produkte entstehen, die über eine Reihe von strategischen Partnern im onkologischen und kardiologischen Bereich vertrieben werden. Berlin, 15.11.1999. Eckert & Ziegler, specialists in the manufacture of low radioactive remedies for cancer and cardiac diseases, have continued their course of expansion in the third quarter. Profits increased by 480% to 7.0 million EUR in comparison with the previous year (1.2 million EUR). Cash flow rose from 0.3 million EUR to 2.5 million EUR and results from ordinary activities amounted to 0.7 million EUR during the period under review. Profits generated by the sale of radioactive components for scientific and technological applications showed a particularly encouraging development in the third quarter. In comparison with the demand for oncological and cardiological products, although there was a high volume of orders here too, the increase was dramatic. According to plan, the number of employees in the company was increased to 129 during the period under review.
