Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— ELMOS übertrifft erneut Umsatz- und Ergebnisprognose Nach vorläufigen Berechnungen hat die ELMOS Semiconductor AG, Dortmund, das Jahr 2000 mit einem Umsatz von 207 Mio. DM (+23% gegenüber dem Vorjahr) abgeschlossen. Damit wurde sowohl das ursprüngliche Budget von 196 Mio. DM als auch die per August auf 204 Mio. DM angehobene Umsatzerwartung deutlich übertroffen. Das Ergebnis vor Steuern stieg von 34,2 Mio. DM auf rund 57 Mio. DM (+66,7% gegenüber dem Vorjahr). Mit einer Umsatzrendite von 27,9% erreicht die ELMOS Gruppe damit wieder einen Spitzenwert. Das Verhältnis von Auftragseingang zum Umsatz im Jahr 2000 betrug 1,15 und lag damit deutlich über dem Vorjahreswert von 1,07. Die endgültigen Zahlen wird die Gesellschaft am 21.02.2001 auf ihrer Bilanzpressekonferenz in Frankfurt bekannt geben. (+23% compared with the year before). Thereby, both the original budget of DM 196 Mio. and the increased sales expectations of DM 204 Mio. as corrected in August have been clearly beaten. The income before income taxes rose from DM 34.2 Mio. to about DM 57 Mio. (+66.7% compared with the year before). With a pre- tax profit margin of 27.9% the ELMOS Group reached again a leading position in the market. The book-to-bill ratio in the year 2000 was 1.15, and significantly exceeded the previous year’s ratio of 1.07. The Company will present the final annual results during its press conference in Frankfurt on February 21st, 2001.
