Hamburg, 19 December 2013 – Just days after the market entry in France, Capital Stage and Hamburg based investment company Aquila Capital have agreed on the purchase of another solar park with an energy output of 10.8 MWp. The park is located in the department Centre about 300 km southwest of Paris and has already been in operation since 2012. Furthermore, the plant management can be taken over by Capital Stage Solar Services from 2017. The overall portfolio of solar and wind parks increases by this transaction and other recently purchased solar parks in Italy, France and Germany to a total of about 237 MWp. Felix Goedhart, Chairman of the Board of Capital Stage AG: ‘We are happy that this and the other recently purchased solar parks give us a strong entry to the French market and that we already dispose over a total of 34 MWp after such a short time. France is characterized by a reliable framework and attractive market rates and therefore fits well into our investment strategy.’
