Hamburg/Paris, 30 June 2014 - Hamburg based solar and wind park operator
Capital Stage AG has reached an agreement with Solairedirect to acquire two
more solar projects in France with a total capacity of 16 MWp, subject to
customary conditions precedent.
With more than 250 employees and about 500 MWp under operation and
construction, Solairedirect is one of the largest solar companies in
France. The two projects with a capacity of 9.2 MWp and 6.8 MWp are located
in the southwest of France in the Departement Gironde (Aquitaine region)
and are planned to be put into operation by the end of 2014. The project
development has already been completed, all property rights, permissions
and attractive long-term financing agreements with HSH Nordbank are already
available. Furthermore, a feed-in-tariff amounting to more than 10 ct per
KWh has already been secured prematurely.
With this acquisition Capital Stage AG expands its solar park portfolio in
France within around six months to 90 MWp. The total energy production
capacity from solar and wind parks in Germany, France and Italy now amounts
to to more than 316 MWp.
