The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Silicon Sensor set for further growth, doubles income March 30, 2005 Benefiting from a better macroeconomic environment, the Silicon Sensor group has again achieved steady growth during the 2004 business year. The management is glad to report sound business development with sales rising by about 16 % on the previous year, from EUR 11.96m to EUR 13.84m, while profits increased by 106 %. EBITDA rose by 47 %, from EUR 2,360,000 (Dec. 31, 2003) to EUR 3,475,000 (Dec. 31, 2004). In terms of operating results, EBIT grew by 91 %, from EUR 1,152,000 (Dec. 31, 2003) to EUR 2,201,000 (Dec. 31, 2004). The result after tax and interest improved by 106%, from EUR 720,000 (Dec. 31, 2003) to EUR 1,484,000 (Dec. 31, 2004). Operating cash-flow improved by 122 % from Euro 1.747 million (2003) to Euro 3.871 million (2003). Liquid assets rose by 255 %, from EUR 1,065,000 (Dec. 31, 2003) to EUR 3,780,000 (Dec. 31, 2004). Earnings per share stood at EUR 0.65, an improvement of EUR 0.33 over the previous year (EUR 0.32 on Dec. 31, 2003). Negotiations with big customers were not concluded during the period under review and are therefore not reflected in the orders on hand.
