Nine-month-result confirms present success

By publishing the financial information for the end of the 3rd Quarter 2007
the Silicon Sensor group confirms their superior performance in 2007.
Compared to the same period in 2006, sales increased by 13 % to € 27.47 mn
(9/30/2006: € 24.35 mn).
The EBITDA increased in the first nine months of 2007 by 41% from € 5.64 mn
(9/30/2006) to € 7.97 mn (9/30/2007).
The EBIT rose by € 1.92 mn, from € 3.93 mn (9/30 2006) to € 5.84 mn
(9/30/2007), a growth rate of 49 %. The Earnings rose by 75 %, from € 2.23
mn (9/30/2006) to € 3.90 mn (9/30/2007). Earnings per share improved taking
into consideration the increased number of shares by € 0.35 from € 0.65
(9/30/2006) to € 1.00 (9/30/2007).
The headcount increased from 248 (9/30/2006) to 294 by end of the 3rd
Quarter 2007. The order backlog grew by 2 %, to € 22.12 mn (9/30/2007)
compared to the previous year (9/30/ 2006: € 21.66 mn). Sales, which may
result from the Nomination Letter received October 25, 2007 in the second
half of 2008, are not reported as part of the order backlog until specified
monthly release orders will be received.
Also in the 4th Quarter 2007 the positive trend of the past is expected to
continue.
