Very good Q3 results

lead to a considerable increase of profit forecast

Berlin, November 4th, 2010

According to preliminary results Silicon Sensor International AG achieved
sales of 32 million Euro in the first nine months of the current financial
year. This means an increase of 54 % compared to the nine months period
2009. Q3 2010 sales alone amounted to 13 million Euro. Operating result
(EBIT) of the nine months period improved by 4.0 million Euro from -1.5
million Euro in 2009 to 2.5 million Euro in 2010. Beginning realization of
scale economies resulted in an increase of EBIT in Q3 to 1.5 million Euro
compared to 1.3 million Euro in Q3 of the 'pre crisis period' 2008.

All locations contributed to the good result. Apart from the overall
economic recovery, which led to an increased demand by our customers, the
sales and profit shift can also be attributed to the positive implications
of the 2009 investments in capacity, enhancement of technology- and service
portfolio, R&D and sales force.

Based on the results achieved so far, the management increases its forecast
for full year 2010. Total sales are expected to be around 42 million Euro
instead of 38 - 40 million Euro. EBIT expectations are raised from 1
million Euro to more than 3 million Euro.

All figures reflect the current and provisional status of the closing and
may be subject to changes until the publication of the final numbers.

Final results and the full quarterly report will be published on Nov. 25th
at http://www.silicon-sensor.de/ir.php.
