Sensortechnics is First Sensor now

– Systematic consolidation of the First Sensor Group continues

– Merger of Sensortechnics GmbH with First Sensor AG effective immediately

– First Sensor strengthens position as leading provider of unique sensor solutions

Berlin, August 23, 2012 – Over the last few years, First Sensor has consistently expanded its business model and developed from a manufacturer of customer-specific, silicon-based optical sensor components into an integrated, international industrial company that offers its customers unique sensor solutions in the form of sensor components, modules and systems.

We continue to resolutely pursue the chosen path of company consolidation and, with retrospective effect from January 1, 2012, have merged Sensortechnics GmbH, Puchheim, with First Sensor AG. In the future, unique sensor solutions for optical sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, level sensors and special sensors will be developed, produced and sold from one source at First Sensor AG.

There will be no changes in terms of collaboration with our customers. The contacts you know will continue to be available in the future, and the Puchheim branch will remain as the Munich location.
