Die FORIS AG (WKN 577580) verzeichnet im 3. Quartal eine deutliche Nachfragesteigerung bei der Prozessfinanzierung. Mit 525 neuen Anfragen liegt eine Steigerung gegenüber dem 2. Quartal um 48 % und im Verhältnis zum 1. Quartal des Jahres um 79 % vor. FORIS sieht in dieser Steigerung eine Bestätigung der im Mai beschlossenen neuen Erfolgsbeteiligungsquote von 30% bis zu einem Prozesserlös von 1 Mio DM und von 20 % von dem darüber hinaus gehenden Betrag. Das Angebot der Prozessfinanzierung ist damit für die Kunden deutlich attraktiver geworden. 2. Gleichzeitig liegen die durchschnittlichen Streitwerte der Verfahren höher als zuvor. Die Prognose der Gesellschaft, mehr Anfragen, insbesondere zu höheren Streitwerten zu erzielen, hat sich damit voll erfüllt. 3. Mit Beginn des 4. Quartals erweitert die FORIS AG ihre Werbestategie über den Kreis der Anwaltschaft hinaus nun auch zielgerecht an den Endverbraucher durch eine Anzeigenkampagne in Wirtschaftsmagazinen. 4. Bis zum Ende des 3. Quartals hat die FORIS AG insgesamt 279 Prozessfinanzierungsverträge abgeschlossen. Davon sind 48 Verfahren endgültig abgeschlossen und abgerechnet, 32 befinden sich in Abrechnung. 199 Verfahren befinden sich aktuell in Finanzierung mit einem Optionsvolumen für die FORIS AG in Höhe von 78,7 Mio DM. Zusätzlich liegen der Gesellschaft aktuell weitere 452 Anfragen zur Prüfung vor. Zum Ende des 2. Quartals waren dies 360 Fälle. 5. Das 3. Quartal schließt mit einem Fehlbetrag von 3.3 Mio DM. Aufgrund mehrerer vor dem Abschluß befindlicher Verfahren sowie der weiter positiven Entwicklung beim Verkauf der Vorratsgesellschaften geht der Vorstand davon aus, ein positives Jahresendergebnis zu erzielen. 6. Die FORIS AG hat im 3. Quartal ein weiteres Büro in Frankfurt eröffnet. Die bisherige Geschäftsentwicklung hat gezeigt, dass gerade Frankfurt ein wichtiger Standort für das Dienstleistungsspektrum der FORIS AG ist. 7. FORIS AG (Securities ID No. 577580) records considerably increased demand for litigation financing in the third quarter. The 525 new enquiries represent an increase of 48% on the second quarter and this figure is 79% up on the number for the first quarter of the year. FORIS sees this increase as confirmation of the new participation rates set in May which were reduced to 30% of proceeds up to DM 1 million and 20% of any proceeds in excess of this figure. These rates make the offer of litigation financing considerably more attractive to customers. 2. At the same time the average litigation values in dispute are higher than ever before. Thus, the company’s forecast of attracting more enquiries, particularly those relating to high values in dispute, has proved entirely correct. 3. As the fourth quarter begins, FORIS AG is extending its strategic advertising beyond the legal profession to reach the final consumer in a series of adverts in business magazines. 4. Up until the end of the third quarter FORIS AG had concluded a total of 279 litigation financing contracts. Of this number, 48 cases have been successfully concluded and settled, 32 are in settlement. 199 are at present in financing with a total option volume for FORIS AG of DM 78.7 million. In addition, the company is currently investigating a further 452 enquiries. At the end of the second quarter these totalled 360 cases. 5. The third quarter closes with a deficit of DM 3.3 million. But due to the fact that several cases are nearing conclusion and thanks to the positive trend in the sale of inventory companies, the Management Board is confident of achieving a positive annual result. 6. This third quarter saw the opening of another FORIS AG office, this time in Frankfurt Business development up to now has shown that Frankfurt is an important location for the range of services FORIS has to offer. 7.
