Landsberg, 2001-09-25. In FY 2000/01 (year to end 30 June 2001), FORTEC Elektronik AG achieved best results so far during its 10-years stock-exchange history. Company turnover grew by 51 percent to 68,278 million DM (previous year 45,127 million DM) and thus considerably topped prognosis. Pre-tax profits again significantly raised to 4,1 million DM due to the additional cash flow of some hundredthousand DM resulting from the extraordinary semiconductor business. Thus the reliability of the prognosis set by the FORTEC management again proved right. The increase in profit, even more realistically shown in the profit before tax, interest and depreciation (EBITDA) could be raised by 28 percent from 3,9 million DM to 5,0 million DM.
