agreement

    together.

  - freesort now present nationwide via three further sites in Germany.

  - freesort 's consolidation volume will rise by 1 million letters per
    month thanks to cooperation.

Birkenwerder – The subsidiary of listed Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG,
freesort GmbH, and Siemens IT Solution & Services GmbH & Co oHG (SIS)
concluded a cooperation agreement in the area of consolidation business. In
the future they are to service the German consolidation market together.

With three sites in Berlin, Fuerth and Cologne which SIS brings in,
freesort is now nationwide present. With these sites, freesort has already
exceeded its goal of opening eight sites in 2007, without having to lay out
initial costs for new infrastructure. Due to the cooperation with SIS,
freesort’s consolidation volume will rise by 1 million letters per month.

The nationwide consolidation allows to gain new major customers, increase
sales efficiency, generate higher economies of scale at the individual
consolidation centres and improve customer retention.

'We are very pleased about the cooperation with Siemens. Thanks to the
cooperation it is possible for us to bundle our technical and sales
expertise and thus to increase freesort’s margin and profits', said Hartmut
Neumann, spokesman of the Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG Management Board.
'We have come a good way closer to achieving our goal for 2007 of a volume
of over 100 million letters and to break even.'

In May 2007, freesort GmbH, which operates in the consolidation business,
had opened their sixth branch. Thus, after the opening in Leipzig this year
in February and now via the cooperation agreement with SIS, freesort has a
network of nine sorting centres in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Fuerth,
Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, Frechen, Cologne and Dusseldorf. The opening
of two centres in Hanover and Munich is still planned for this year. In the
medium term, freesort is aiming for a 25% market share in Germany.

Presently, Siemens IT Solution & Services operates print centres at the
sites in Berlin, Fuerth and Cologne. In cooperation with freesort, in
addition to printing services SIS now also offers consolidated delivery to
Deutsche Post AG. SIS plans to build further sites with printing centres.

In the future, freesort and SIS will provide their medium and high-volume
postage volume customers with a common network of sorting centres which
will operate Nationwide.
