More Efficient Mail Processing: FP Group at POST EXPO 2009

Birkenwerder, 28 September 2009.

The Francotyp-Postalia Group is at POST EXPO in Hanover from 29 September
to 1 October 2009. At this major international event, the FP Group will be
showcasing its latest mail processing products and services - from
state-of-the-art franking and inserting machines to digital mail
management. POST EXPO is the world's leading trade fair for the
international mail, express and delivery services segment. 'Our Fair
offering in Hanover proves that we cover the whole outbound mail processing
chain, with highly efficient and tailored solutions for companies of all
sizes,' commented Andreas Drechsler from FP's Management Board.

In the classic franking machine segment, FP will be demonstrating its
optimail 30, which has received numerous awards. This system is ideal for
small and medium-sized mail volumes. Whether 20 or 1,000 letters per day,
mail processing machines save time and money. Alongside its latest franking
and inserting machines, the FP Group will be using the Fair to demonstrate
the advantages of its mail consolidation and digital mail processing
services. 'Many companies have potential for large savings here, and our
solutions can provide them,' said Drechsler.

Time and Cost Savings

In Germany, the FP Group provides a mail consolidation service. That means
that commercial customers don't have to travel to the post office or
post-box. FP's subsidiary freesort simply collects the mail directly from
the company, sorts it by zip code and passes it on bundled to a Deutsche
Post mail center or other delivery service. Not only does this service save
time, it also results in cost savings, as customers gain from the rebate
given on pre-sorted mail.

Using FP's digital solutions, companies can completely outsource their
outbound mail operations. FP's subsidiary iab takes over the whole mail
processing chain, from downloading data streams to the printing, inserting
and franking of mail, as well as optimized bundling to save on postage
charges. The finished outbound mail is then passed on to a delivery
service. This means companies can greatly simplify mail processing and make
additional gains from cost savings.

FP Group is at POST EXPO 2009 from 29th September to 1st. October 2009 in
Hanover and is located on Stand No. 1006, Hall 2.
