Francotyp-Postalia offers dispatch of legally binding electronic mail

Birkenwerder, 21 February 2011. The Francotyp-Postalia Group, a global service provider for professional mail management, now offers its customers fully electronic solutions for mail communications with the products of FP iab GmbH. This sees the company expanding its range of services to become the first full service provider of mail communications.

Partnership with Mentana-Claimsoft
The new solution enables companies of all sizes to dispatch their mail in secure, digital form at the click of a mouse so that the recipient receives a legally binding electronic letter. To be able to offer its customers this service, the FP Group has entered into a partnership with Mentana-Claimsoft AG. The company specialises in electronic signatures and also offers products for securing electronic documents and for legally binding communication.

All forms of mail communication
With this service, Francotyp-Postalia is further strengthening its market position. 'We are specialists in mail communications and offer state-of-the-art solutions for the future,' explains Andreas Drechsler, who sits on the Management Board of the FP Group. The company, which is headquartered in Birkenwerder, now supports its customers in all forms of mail communication – from the franking and inserting of physical letters, through consolidation, to the hybrid mail solution and fully electronic dispatch.

The two companies will be making their first joint appearance on the Francotyp-Postalia stand (Hall 3, Stand D08) at the 2011 CeBIT. 'Under the motto Safe documents – safe transport , we aim to show visitors the opportunities available to them through the use of digital signatures and how easily the signature data can be archived, even over long periods. We are also offering comprehensive information about the highly topical theme of De-Mail and the associated opportunities for companies,' says Axel Janhoff from the Management Board of Mentana-Claimsoft.
