GEA appoints Martine Snels as new member to the Executive Board Düsseldorf, June 30, 2017 – The Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft has appointed Martine Snels to GEA’s Executive Board with effect from the beginning of October 2017. She will assume responsibility for GEA’s regions and countries organization. Following her appointment, GEA will be headed by an Executive Board consisting of five members. “We are delighted to welcome Martine Snels on board as a future member of GEA’s Executive Board; she is a leader bringing with her many years of experience in the customer industries relevant to GEA’s business”, commented Dr. Helmut Perlet, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft. Martine Snels (48) is Belgian by nationality. She is a graduate agricultural engineer and has successfully held a number of management positions in various multinational companies in the food and agri-sector. She brings more than 20 years of global business experience while being based in Belgium, Singapore and the Netherlands. In 2012, she joined Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. where she currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ingredients and member of the Executive Board.
