New depot opening in Southampton
DX, a leading provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier, 2-person and logistics services, is pleased to announce the opening of a new depot in Southampton. The opening significantly increases the Group's capacity in the region and continues DX's programme to expand and develop its depot network.
The new site, which is located in Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, comprises a 25,000 sq ft facility and replaces a smaller depot in Totton. It is the latest addition to the Group's Parcels network, part of the DX Express division, which provides highly secure, tracked deliveries to both business and consumer addresses. The new depot will improve operational efficiencies, reduce carbon emissions and enhance customer service levels, a key focus for the Group.

· DX Freight comprises DX-1, DX-2 and Logistics, with the Division being only one of a small number of operators that provides an overnight delivery service for irregular dimension and weight freight ("IDW").
· DX Express comprises DX Parcels and DX Exchange and Mail, with the Division specialising in the express delivery, including pre-9am, of parcels and documents.
