Geratherm Medical releases financial figures for 2018

– Sales revenues 21.5 million EUR +2.3 %;

– Gross profit (EBITDA) 2,801 thousand EUR +58,4 %

– Operating profit (EBIT) 1,987 thousand EUR +216.9 %

– Result of ordinary business activities 1,478 thousand EUR +218.5 %

– Shareholders’ earnings (EAT) 1,154 thousand EUR +69.7 %

– Earnings per share 23 cents (previous year 14 cents)

– Dividend proposal 40 cents per share, 12 cents

of which tax-neutral from the tax deposit account

– Investment phase in medical capillary production

completed, production started well

– Good business performance in 1 ^st quarter and anticipated in 2019.

Geratherm Medical had a markedly better business performance in 2018 than in the previous year. Despite decommissioned capillary production, sales revenue rose slightly. The Healthcare Diagnostic segment, in which capillary production is integrated, posted a decline in sales of – 5.8 %. The segments Respiratory (+12.7 %), Medical Warming Systems (+20.7 %) and Cardio/Stroke (+23.2 %) all performed considerably better. The total group income of the shareholders of the parent company amounts to 1,684 thousand EUR (+53.8 %).
