ARQUES Industries AG: Stock split will be effective July 10

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— ARQUES Industries AG: Stock split will be effective July 10 Starnberg, July 6, 2006 – After implementation of the stock split at a ratio of 1 to 10, shareholders of ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004) will automatically be granted nine additional ARQUES shares for each existing ARQUES share starting from July 10, 2006. After the registration in the Commercial Register on June 27, 2006, the stock split which was agreed upon at the annual general meeting on May 30, 2006, can now be executed promptly. Share capital therefore increases from previously EUR 2,426,667.00 by EUR 21,840,003.00 to EUR 24,266,670.00. Consequently the number of ARQUES shares increases tenfold. The new shares are entitled to dividends from the beginning of the financial year 2006.
