According to this decision, Dr. Martin Vorderwülbecke will give up his previous position as Executive Board member responsible for acquisitions and will immediately take on the position of CFO and Executive Board Vice Chairman. Simultaneously, Dr. Michael Schumann, longstanding manager in the acquisitions division, will take over as Executive Board member responsible for acquisitions. Hereby the Executive Board is completely occupied again. Dr. Vorderwülbecke has been a member of the ARQUES Industries AG Executive Board since July 1, 2004. He held the position of CFO provisionally from March 1, 2005 to June 30, 2005, and since December 2005. Dr. Vorderwülbecke has a doctorate in law, is a tax expert and holds an MBA from the recognised INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau. Dr. Schumann has been with the ARQUES acquisitions division in a managerial position since the beginning of 2003. Numerous company purchases are substantially due to his commitment. Dr. Schumann has a business degree and has been working in the mergers and acquisitions area for many years.
