ARQUES takes over technical service provider, BEA TDL, from the Röchling Group

Seller is BEA Holding AG, a full subsidiary of Gebr. Röchling KG, who thereby concentrates on plastics, its core business. BEA TDL develops and constructs electro-technical plants and automation solutions for conveyor technology and energy technology primarily for open brown coal mining. The technical service provider has established itself within the core range of energy infrastructure as a partner of renowned large-scale enterprises and has been operating profitably for years. BEA TDL generated revenues to the value of approximately EUR 50 million with more than 350 employees. A property necessary for operation in Spremberg-Schwarze Pumpe belongs to the company. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. BEA TDL is already the eleventh ARQUES acquisition in the financial year 2006. The Starnberg-based equity investment company already announced in September that the goal of one billion Euro annualised group revenues for the entire year will be significantly exceeded. BEA TDL, which operates internationally, is active in the growth markets of opencast mining plants for brown coal production, energy production and distribution as well as water and environmental technology. The company’s long-standing customers include large mining enterprises, energy providers and mechanical engineering enterprises such as Vattenfall, RWE, MIBRAG, Takraf and FAM.
