ARQUES successfully places capital increase
- Transaction involving 9% of capital stock completed at EUR 21.60
Starnberg, May 29, 2007. The Starnberg-based private equity firm ARQUES
Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004) has successfully completed the placement
of a capital increase announced on May 25, 2007 amounting to 9% of the
company's capital stock. The 2,183,330 shares were issued under the capital
increase authorized by the Ordinary General Meeting on May 30, 2006. The
placement price per share was EUR 21.60, putting the gross issue proceeds
at EUR 47.2 million. The shares went to German and international
institutional investors. The transaction was completed with the assistance
of a banking consortium comprising Viscardi Securities (Lead Manager) and
M.M. Warburg (Selling Agent).
The proceeds from the transaction will be used to fund several major
projects that are currently in the pipeline. ARQUES will announce more
details in this regard over the coming months.
