ARQUES appoints Michael Schumann as new CEO
Schumann, now Executive Board Member for acquisitions, to take over from
Martin Vorderwülbecke on February 1st
Starnberg, January 17, 2008 – The Supervisory Board of ARQUES Industries AG
(ISIN DE0005156004) has appointed Dr. Michael Schumann (46) as new CEO,
succeeding Dr. Martin Vorderwülbecke (47). The appointment will take effect
February 1st, 2008.
The ARQUES Executive Board is now fully staffed by experienced ARQUES
managers. Michael Schumann was given a three year contract. The present CEO
did not accept the offer to extend his contract by at least three years as
this desirable long term commitment was not in line with his personal life
plan.
ARQUES is fully confirming it's outlook for 2007 and 2008, both revenue and
profit wise.
