ARQUES sells real estate to US investment company, W.P. Carey
- Proceeds to the value of EUR 32 million

Starnberg, July 9, 2008 - ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004) has sold
real estate from its portfolio. The sales proceeds amount to EUR 32
million. The buyer is the renowned US real estate investment company, W.P.
Carey, New York.
The real estate was taken over within the context of the acquisition of
Actebis Peacock GmbH, Soest. It includes the Actebis head office in Soest
and a logistics centre in Bad Wünnenberg (North Rhine-Westphalia).
Actebis was acquired by ARQUES in July 2007. The company is one of the
leading European IT-distributors. Including the telecommunications
distributor NT Plus which was taken over at the end of 2007 as well as
further Actebis regional companies, the Actebis Group generates revenues of
approximately EUR 3.6 billion.
