Gigaset Shareholders elect two new members to the Supervisory Board Rudi Lamprecht appointed as Chairman and Prof. Dr. Michael Judis as Vice-Chairman Munich , June 10, 2011 – At the Gigaset AG annual general meeting a large majority of shareholders elected the international capital market expert, Susanne Klöß, and the experienced telecommunications manager, Rudi Lamprecht, to the supervisory board. Thereafter, in its first meeting, the supervisor board appointed Lamprecht as chairman and Prof. Dr. Michael Judis as vice-chairman. The erstwhile chairman, Dr. Dr. Peter Löw, was elected and remains as member of the board. Rudi Lamprecht is considered an outstanding Gigaset expert and has years of experience in the telecommunication and information technology industry itself. The computer scientist has held numerous senior management positions, among other at Hewlett Packard, Siemens Nixdorf and Siemens AG. There, as member of the Corporate Executive Committee, he was responsible, amongst others, for the telecommunications sector with the former Gigaset company, SHC, as well as the economic regions Africa, Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Susanne Klöß is an internationally respected top manager with excellent knowledge of the capital market. As Managing Partner of one of the world's leading consultancies, the business administration graduate has, for many years, been responsible for the capital market sector and significantly advanced the transformation of the international stock market environment towards electronic trading. 'We are pleased that the Supervisory Board is to be enhanced by two such highly qualified members.' according to the executive board of Gigaset AG. 'Both will contribute to the success of Gigaset as the market leader by virtue of their international network and profound knowledge of the telecommunications market.' The Shareholders re-elected the recommended members, Prof. Dr. Michael Judis, David Hersh and Bernhard Riedel, to the supervisory board. Dr. Rudolf Falter and Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg did not stand for election.
