Gigaset SL910A selected 'Product of the year 2012'
Munich, June 05, 2012. The readers of the magazine 'connect' selected the
Gigaset SL910A 'Product of the Year 2012' in the category cordless voice.
The first full touch home phone received 46% of the votes in this category
and was therefore the winner out of eight nominated products. 45,000
'connect' readers took part in the vote for telephone networks, services
and products. In total, the top placements in the 'connect' best list are
Gigaset products which were extensively tested by the 'connect' test
laboratory.
'We are very happy about this prize. The vote shows that our high quality
products meet the needs and expectations of our customers', said Maik
Brockmann, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for sales at
Gigaset AG.
'Herewith, the readers confirm and highlight the positive sound test
results of DECT telephones in the 1/2012 issue of connect', said Dirk
Waasen, chief editor of connect. According to GfK (market assessment of
cordless phones, April 2012, Germany), Gigaset's SL910A ranks sixth in
terms of units sold. In terms of value, the phone ranks first.
