GK SOFTWARE AG Continues Growth Course

  • Increase in sales of approx. 16% in comparison with the same period in the previous year
  • Confirmation of growth forecast for 2011

Schöneck, 29. August 2011 – GK SOFTWARE AG managed to maintain its growth course during the first half of fiscal 2011. Sales increased strongly by about 16 percent in comparison to the same period in the previous year from a figure of EUR 12.47 million to EUR 14.45 million. The company was even able to increase total operating revenue from EUR 13.23 million during the first six months of last year to a figure of EUR 15.68 million during the 2011 reporting period. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached EUR 2.48 million, and this was once again accompanied by a high EBIT margin of 17.2% (19.8% in the previous year).

Based on these results, the current state of completion in ongoing projects and sales options in the pipeline, the Management Board continues to view the future with optimism. The Management Board is continuing to stand by its forecast for the full year: It expects significant growth in sales with similar profitability levels as achieved during the past few years.
