GK Software AG: Russian Fashion Chain Modis Opts for GK SOFTWARE AG Store Solution

Schöneck, 10. April 2013 – The rapidly growing Russian operator of fashion department stores, Modis, has decided to use SAP Point-of-Sale by GK. This is the first time that the GK SOFTWARE AG solutions have been successfully sold in Russia through the partnership with SAP. Modis will equip its approx. 65 stores in Russia with the new store software. The key factor here was the seamless integration of the software in the SAP retail system, which is one of the unique selling points of SAP Point-of-Sale by GK. A Russian partner will handle the work required to adapt the standard software to the special requirements of Modis. GK SOFTWARE AG will support this partner with training, development and consultancy services. GK SOFTWARE AG already supplies the store software for two leading retailers in Russia and this involves looking after more than ten thousand productive installations.

The project is due to be completed in 2013. Agreement was reached not to reveal any figures about the value of the project.
