GK Software AG: Supervisory Board extends contract with CFO André Hergert

The Supervisory Board at GK Software AG has extended the contract with Chief Financial Officer André Hergert by a further five years until 31 December 2020. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Uwe Ludwig, commented, “We’re delighted that we’ll continue to have the business expertise and leadership skills of André Hergert at the company. He’s played a major role as CFO in shaping the fortunes of the company and its growth since our IPO. We’ve therefore agreed an extension of five years to his contract as an expression of the appreciation of his person. This extension to his contract is a sign of long-term continuity in the company’s management for the Supervisory Board.”

André Hergert has been a member of the Management Board at GK Software AG since June 2008. He had already played a major role in preparing for the IPO as a consultant during the same year. After studying business management and politics at the University of Lüneburg and Loughborough University, André Hergert had been working as an accounting manager and director of finances at various companies in the financial and IT sectors since 1991.
